Case 1
X-ray and top right:
before the root extraction
Bottom right:
two years after the root extraction

Step-by-step:
Small buccal flap opened,Separation of the roots supracrestally
Drilling through the crown, inserting the Benex screw
Root extrusion as far as the crown stop
Remove the Benex screw and using salami-like tactics separation of the remaining root

Remains of the abutment are removed from the crown
Rubberdam placed over the extraction socket and secured with wedges of wood
Crown filling with plastic through the drilling
Suture

Case 2
The edge of the crown is situated supragingivally.
The extraction can be done by a flapless technique.
