Transmucosal healing, suture technique

The suture technique shown provides the most predictable primary wound healing for transmucosal implant healing.

Transmucosal healing enables precise hollowing for the plate temporaryrestoration  and makes re-opening irrelevant. 

The mucosa flaps are fixed around the implant with a horizontal mattress suture, in combination with a single-button suture (Laurell suture).
The retromolar relief incisions are sealed with only one mattress suture.
